Leadership | Nicole Motika
For the past 16 years, Nicole Motika has developed and honed her expertise in accounting and finance. Having worked in a variety of settings, from small startup businesses to large international firms, Nicole has gained experience and in-depth knowledge with GAAP reporting, project management, and building accounting systems. Throughout her career, she developed a passion for supporting business owners and providing them with the freedom to grow their businesses successfully by maintaining and advising them on matters of finance.
This passion motivated Nicole to create Profit Margin, LLC, a company that provides bookkeeping and consulting to small business, payroll services, cash flow and budget forecasting, and part-time CFO services to large businesses looking to maximize their financial effectiveness. Profit Margin, LLC, provides a personalized approach to finance and operations, setting up accounting systems while also streamlining and automating processes. Nicole holds a BA in Accounting and Finance, as well as an MBA with a concentration in project management. She has won several awards from past employers and has served as a board member for several non-profit organizations. In her free time, she enjoys swimming and cycling, as well as spending time with her husband and their two daughters.

Adel-Marie
Adel-Marie has a BS in Accounting from Bentley College. Upon receiving her CPA license from the State of Connecticut she returned to Massachusetts and became a financial statement accountant for a real estate developer in Boston. After taking time off to start a family, she re-started her career in accounting as a bank teller and municipal bookkeeper. At Profit Margin she specializes in law and real estate firm accounting. Outside of work Adel enjoys reading, yoga, walking and hiking (especially with her dog JoJo) and spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and her extended family and friends.
Amy
Amy holds a BS in Accounting and has worked in defense contracting and accounting related endeavors over the last 15 years. She accompanied her husband to Europe where she worked for a defense company responsible for contract management accounting. After returning stateside and starting a family, she spent her free time helping family and friends with the management of personal expenses and tax preparation.
As Accounting Manager, she appreciates the distinctiveness of each client and the opportunity to assist others to effectively manage their finances in order to grow and be successful. After having been fortunate to travel while living overseas, Amy is most content spending time at home with her husband and two children. She also enjoys fishing, gardening, and working on home improvement projects.
Brenda
Brenda started her bookkeeping career in the automotive industry. With 10+ years of accounts payable and receivable experience, strong attention to detail, and over 20 years of customer service experience, she is a consistent face of calm and dependability. She especially enjoys helping clients balance their accounts and loves that her responsibilities keep her both challenged and interested. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, she also enjoys hiking, martial arts, motorcycles and music.
Lhea
Lhea earned her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Stonehill College. She joined the workforce soon after as a human resources representative and payroll specialist for many years before taking some time off to raise a family. Joining Profit Margin in 2021 as the payroll specialist she is enjoying working with her coworkers and clients. Lhea has sat on various non-profit boards and enjoys volunteering in the local community. Spending time with family is most important to her and can be found most weekends at sporting events for her three daughters.
Michelle
Michelle has worked with a variety of business types and industries including small business, sole-proprietorship, hospitality, corporate, education, and non-profit. She specializes in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Before joining Profit Margin she was Executive Director and board member of a prominent local non-profit for 10 years. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BS in Business Management. Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and two children who are her world. They enjoy traveling together.
Rebecca
Rebecca began her career working in financial planning and analysis for a global security and advanced technologies corporation. She also has finance and accounting experience in the construction, retail, payment and security solutions, and insurance industries. Rebecca enjoys working with people and spent many years in the hospitality industry and has also worked in admissions for a small college. Rebecca received her BS in Finance. She has volunteered in her town’s school district, for the Girl Scouts and for several other organizations. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, attending her children’s sporting events, reading, and trips to the ocean.
Rachel
Rachel is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Accounting with a concentration in Auditing and Fraud Examination from SNHU and will graduate mid-late 2023. She plans to continue on and get her Masters in Auditing. She joined the Profit Margin team in the middle of 2022. Still in the early stages of her career, she has worked in accounts payable and general bookkeeping for 5+ years. Her favorite part of accounting is performing reconciliations and making accounts balance. She has worked in the automotive, municipal, and restaurant industries. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and cats, walking in the park, playing DnD, and working on craft projects.
